He has become known as "America's Startup & Nonprofit Success Expert" after being a co-founder or founding team member of 8 startups with 5 exits - 2 IPOs and 3 acquisitions.

As the Co-Founder of Constant Contact, Alec headed up thought leadership for the nonprofit sector of Constant Contact where he helped formalize the company’s nonprofit strategy,  programs and success formula for nonprofits. These programs grew to serve over 150,000 nonprofits over Alec’s tenure. 

Alec is passionate about small business, nonprofits, entrepreneurship and innovation but social impact has been a cornerstone in Alec’s life since he was young, largely because his Mom was involved in many philanthropic organizations and enlisted his help even as a young boy. In college, he co-chaired events including the City of Syracuse Division for Youth Program which brought high school students on campus to experience “a day in the life” of a college student and provide mentorship.

Alec became very involved in Boston’s nonprofit ecosystem, co-chairing and chairing many galas and fundraisers. He created programs and events that led to raising millions of dollars for several causes and was an advisor and board member for several nonprofit organizations. He helped develop the Young Professional Organizations for several nonprofits including the Boston Public Library Foundation, the first public library in the Country. The Young Professional Organizations became the stepping stone for many future donors, event chairs and board members.
