Guillermo is an American actor/producer most well-known worldwide for starring in the series lead role of Huck in the hit ABC Shonda Rhimes series Scandal for 7 seasons and as Guillermo on the hit Showtime series Weeds. He currently stars as Lt. Bill Brewster on Law & Order: Organized Crime for NBC. He also has a role in the highly anticipated upcoming LGBT film Bros, by Universal Studios, coming out at the end of this month nationwide.
He has been an active member of the C.A.R.E. Project (Compassion, Acceptance, Respect, Empowerment Project) for over 7 years serving/assisting missions in Los Angeles to help feed and clothe the homeless community in Los Angeles. Through the C.A.R.E. project, he learned about SOCKS & SACKS, an organization created, funded and run by volunteers in Los Angeles to assist the homeless beach community with clean socks and food. Additionally, he was instrumental in helping raise over $150,000 for the National MS Society by donating his original art for auction, his time on the team for the MS Walk walk, and using his celebrity status to bring awareness to functions assuring that 100% of the donations were given to the NMSS.
